From ADCEP Philippines

We are proud and humbled to announce the first Call for Papers of the 2nd International Conference on Development Communication and the 11th Scientific Meeting of ADCEP Philippines.

This will be held from September 14-16, 2023 at the beautiful campus of the Visayas State University (VSU), an emerging higher education institution dedicated for science, technology and environmental conservation.

As the premier state university of the Visayas, VSU is also the home of one of the best development communication schools in the country being awarded for two times as a Center of Development by the Commission on Higher Education(CHED).

The university is situated at the foot of the Majestic Mount Pangasugan, one of last remaining ecological gems of the Leyte Cordilleras. For experiencing and surviving the strongest typhoons and other natural disasters, this institution is the perfect location to discuss our conference theme:

SCIENCE, RISK COMMUNICATION, AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT

As Eastern Visayas will soon commemorate the 10th year of the devastation of Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda), we hope to discuss in our upcoming conference effective communication strategies for recovery and adaptability along with other contemporary issues in the field of development communication.

Join us in this event and submit your papers on or before August 10,2023. Other important details can be found below.

We will also be announcing more details about this conference both in our Facebook page and the VSU website to tell you the many reasons why you should participate in this highly anticipated event.

So, start writing those papers and submit it to us now!
